Gary is a graduate of Western Michigan University

  1. (1973)and earned his M.Div. at Reformed Theological

Seminary in 1979. In 2007, he earned his Ph.D.

in Christian Intellectual History from Whitefield

Theological Seminary. Author of countless

essays, news articles, and more than 27 book

titles, he also hosts The Gary DeMar Show,

a weekday webshow and podcast. Gary has

lived in the Atlanta area since 1979 with his wife,

authoress Carol DeMar. They have two married

sons and are enjoying being grandparents to their

grandsons and are members of Midway Presbyterian

Church (PCA) in Powder Springs, Georgia.

Bojidar Marinov

A Reformed missionary to his native Bulgaria for over 10 years, Bojidar preaches and teaches doctrines of the Reformation and a comprehensive Biblical worldview. He and his team have translated over 30,000 pages of Christian literature about the application of the Law of God in every area of man’s life and society, and published those translations online for free. He has been active in the formation of the Libertarian movement in Bulgaria; a co-founder of the Bulgarian Society for Individual Liberty and its first chairman. Maggie and Bojidar Marinov were the first Christian homeschooling family in Bulgaria and they keep working to encourage, help and support other homeschoolers in their country. Bojidar is committed to build and present a model for missions that is comprehensive, relevant, and worldview-motivated.

Joel McDurmon

M.Div., Reformed Episcopal Theological Seminary, is the Director of Research for American Vision. He
has authored several books, Manifested in the Flesh: How the Historical Evidence of Jesus Refutes Modern
Mystics and Skeptics; The Return of the Village Atheist; Zeitgeist Refuted: Is Jesus an Astrological Myth?; and Biblical Logic in Theory and Practice. His latest How to Argue with a Liberal and Win is one of American Vision’s bestsellers and has a corresponding webcast series on Youtube. He also serves as a lecturer and regular contributor to the American Vision website. Joel and his wife and three sons live in Dallas, Georgia.

Pastor Joseph Morecraft

A preacher of the gospel and a noted lecturer on contemporary political and historical trends in the United States, his published works include How God Wants Us to Worship Him: a Defense of the Bible as the Only Standard for Modern Worship, With Liberty and Justice for All: Christian Politics Made Simple and Authentic Christianity; An Exposition on the Theology and Ethics of the Westminster Larger Catechism. Native to Madison, West Virginia, Pastor Morecraft holds a B.A. in history from King College in Bristol, Tennessee, a M.Div from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia, and a M.Th. and Th.D. from Whitefield Theological Seminary in Lakeland, Florida, has been the pastor of Chalcedon Presbyterian Church since 1974 and has assisted in the planting of other churches in the Atlanta area. Pastor Morecraft and Becky have four children and seven grandchildren.

Dr. Gary North

Gary North received his Ph.D. in history from the University of California, Riverside in 1972. A prolific author, Gary has written a vast number of articles and over 42 books including The War on Mel Gibson: The Media versus The Passion, Sanctions and Dominion, Dominion and Common Grace, Puritan Economic Experiments, No Other Standard and Crossed Fingers: How Liberals Captured the Presbyterian Church. Gary is considered one of the most insightful and thought-provoking historians and economists in modern times. Featured in DVD series The Unknown History of the 20th Century, his newest series The History of the Conservative Movement is nearing completion.

Dr. Roger Schultz

Before coming to Liberty University in 2002, the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences for taught at Virginia Intermont College, the University of Arkansas, and Oak Hills Christian College. He is particularly interested in world-view education and how Christian commitments and Biblical presuppositions influence approaches to academic disciplines. His articles on these topics have been translated into Spanish and Hungarian. Dr. Schultz is a specialist in American religious history and he frequently preaches in local churches and speaks at conferences. His essays and articles have appeared in World Magazine; Banner of Truth; Faith for All of Life; Fides et Historia; Chalcedon Report; Contra Mundum; Human Events; The Presbyterian Witness; Presbyterian Advocate; American Conservatism: An Encyclopedia; The Ozark Historical Review; The Journal of Christian Reconstruction; The Christian Observer; Presbyterian and Reformed News; and Christianity and Civilization.

Reverend David Hall

Serving as Senior Pastor of the historic Midway Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Powder Springs, Georgia, he holds degrees from the University of Memphis (1975), Covenant Theological Seminary (1980), and the Ph.D. in Christian Intellectual Thought from Whitefield Theological Seminary. David and his wife, Ann, have three children. Rev. Hall is the author of over 20 books and numerous essays which include: Election Day Sermons; The Arrogance of the Modern: Historical Theology Held in Contempt; Holding Fast to Creation; Did God Create in 6 Days?; and A Heart Promptly Offered: The Revolutionary Leadership of John Calvin. Rev. Hall was the general editor of the Calvin 500 series, and is featured in the American Vision DVD series, Masculine Spiritual Leadership.

Bruce Shortt

A graduate of Amherst College, Harvard Law School, has a Ph.D. from Stanford University, was a Fulbright Scholar, and serves on the board of directors of both the Houston Ebony Music Society and the Exodus Mandate. Mr. Shortt is a member of North Oaks Baptist Church and currently practices law in Houston, Texas, where he resides with his wife and their sons. Mr. and Mrs. Shortt believe strongly in homeschooling and homeschool their sons. Bruce Shortt and T.C. Pinckney were co-sponsors of the Christian Education Resolution submitted for consideration at the 2004 Annual Meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention, calling for pastors to encourage their flock to remove their children from tax-funded schools and establish private Christian schools in the Sunday School classrooms. He is also the author of The Harsh Truth About Public Schools (2004).

Israel Wayne

Homeschool graduate and the author of Homeschooling from a Biblical Worldview, Israel is a regular columnist for Home School Digest and Brush Arbor Quarterly, published by Wisdom’s Gate, where he currently serves as the Marketing Director. Israel is a popular conference speaker, and a frequent guest on national radio programs discussing home education and cultural issues from a Biblical perspective. Bill Potter

Mr. Potter (MA, PHD, abd) brings almost forty years of research, writing, and teaching experience to the History Guild Lyceum. He is a member of the Georgia Historical Society and is on the Board of Directors of the Conservative Caucus in Virginia. Kevin Swanson

John Eidsmoe

A retired Air Force Lt. Colonel and Alabama State Defense Force Colonel, a graduate of the Air Command & Staff College and the Air War College, John Eidsmoe is Professor of Law at the Oak Brook College of Law and Government Policy. He has served as Senior Staff Attorney with the Alabama Supreme Court and is currently Legal Counsel for the Foundation for Moral Law. He is an ordained pastor with the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations and serves on the Board of Lutherans for Life, on the Board of the Plymouth Rock Foundation, and on the Board of the Gospel Martial Arts Union, and is a constitutional attorney who has defended home schools, Christian schools, the right of students to study the Bible in public schools, and the right to display the Ten Commandments in the public arena. He has authored 13 books, including Christianity & the Constitution, God & Caesar, and Columbus & Cortez, and has produced numerous audio and video lecture albums including The Institute on the Constitution and Here I Stand: A Biblical Worldview for a New Millennium. He holds six academic degrees in law, theology, and political science.

Harp of Dixie

The recipient of seven 2008 SHMA awards, including Female Artist of the Year, Songwriter of the Year and Album of the Year, Deborah Brinson is a home education graduate from North Carolina. She specializes in performing vocal music from the traditions of Ireland, Scotland and the American South while accompanying herself on the harp. The Carrell Family

A huge hit at the 2009 Worldview Super Conference, the Carrell family hails from Alabama, where in 2008 they began to use their talents with the fiddle, mandolin, upright bass, banjo and guitar for the glory and praise of God, per Psalm 33: “Sing a new song to Him; play skillfully on the strings, with a joyful shout.” They encourage you to read the entire Psalm 33.  It is 22 verses of Praise to the Creator and explains how the heavens and the earth and all that is in them were created by God.  It tells us that happy is the nation whose God is the Lord.  God desires our praises and instructs us to sing joyfully unto Him.

Samaritan Ministries

A non-profit community of Christians from around the world joining together to bear one another’s physical needs in the form of sharing health care costs in a loving, cost-effective manner that does not involve traditional health insurance. AXIS Worldview

Focusing on the student population, AXIS Worldview is a non-profit organization dedicated to impacting young adults intellectually, emotionally and spiritually. Through interactive sessions on predominant worldviews and pressing issues, AXIS will challenge students to understand their world and move from apathy to action. Using a team of 20-25 year old dynamic speakers, AXIS Worldview introduces a six-question grid and emphasizes that ideas have consequences to students age 14-22, challenging them to grapple with some of the most influential ideas in the history of our planet. Students will be encouraged to evaluate their own beliefs and given the tools to ensure that they have a well-reasoned, consistent and coherent worldview.
